Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Winneshiek County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down Ideal candidate: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
