Press shop operator wanted in Kiyawa

Join our team: we are hiring a press shop operator in Kiyawa, Jigawa State. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
