External wall insulation fitter • Scott County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Scott County, Kansas. You will be based on a construction site. The role involves lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
