Fabricator-welder wanted in Powell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Powell County, Kentucky. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
