Dogger wanted in Piscataquis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Piscataquis County, Maine. You will work at a container port. Your main tasks: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
