Now hiring: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Union County, North Carolina. You will be based on a residential construction site. Day to day you will spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. You should have: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites Six days a week, one day off. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
