Immediate opening: brick and block layer (New Mexico)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Torrance County, New Mexico. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
