Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Wright County, Iowa. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
