Short order cook — Cherokee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a short order cook in Cherokee County, Alabama. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down You should have: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Rotating shifts.
