Day-to-day duties: • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
