Quality checker wanted in Stockton-on-Tees

Great opportunity: we are hiring a quality checker in Stockton-on-Tees, England. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection The role involves: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
