You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day to day you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine.
