Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Citrus County, Florida. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious The role involves connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
