Plant operator wanted in Sussex County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Sussex County, Delaware. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones On the job you will handle: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Full-time, day shift.
