Mason's helper • Yadkin County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mason's helper in Yadkin County, North Carolina. You will be based on a building construction site. Your main tasks: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
