Dogger wanted in Kiowa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a dogger in Kiowa County, Colorado. You will be based at a shipyard. You will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; read lift plans and method statements before starting; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Rotating shifts.
