Great opportunity: milling machinist (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in City of Alexandria, Virginia. You will work in a toolroom. You will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
