Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Dale County, Alabama. Day to day you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
