Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Martin County, Minnesota. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Part-time with flexible hours.
