Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Greene County, Virginia. The role involves: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 3+ years on the tools preferred.
