We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Brown County, South Dakota. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm 3+ years on the tools preferred.
