Glazing assistant wanted in Dallas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Dallas County, Alabama. The job is at a busy glazing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Day-to-day duties: • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
