Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Oneida County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
