Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Day to day you will fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction.
