Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Harvey County, Kansas. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
