Tailor machinist wanted in Vermillion County

Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Vermillion County, Indiana. You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
