Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Knox County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Knox County, Missouri. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Day to day you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
