Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Bonner County, Idaho. On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 1+ years on the tools preferred.
