We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Cumbria, England. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
