Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Caldwell County, Texas. The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work We offer $170 per day plus benefits.
