Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Seminole County, Florida. You will be based at a power plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
