Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Richland County, Wisconsin. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. Day to day you will keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; degrease and clean metal parts before coating. Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
