Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Pinal County, Arizona. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
