Meat cutter wanted in Koochiching County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat cutter in Koochiching County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
