Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. You will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; load and index turning tools in the turret. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
