Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
