You should have: • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines On a typical shift you will replace clutch plates and gearbox components; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries.
