Pastry baker — Western Connecticut Planning Region

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a busy bakery. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes The role involves monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; load and unload the deck oven with a peel.
