Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Sterling County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Sterling County, Texas. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. On the job you will handle: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
