Now hiring: we are hiring a car refinisher in Schoharie County, New York. The job is in a spray booth. Ideal candidate: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Your main tasks: • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
