Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Hinsdale County, Colorado. On a typical shift you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
