Hand presser wanted in Dauphin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hand presser in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day-to-day duties: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
