Now hiring: tower crane operator (Scotland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Current medical and eyesight certificate Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
