Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Russell County, Kentucky. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle.
