Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Central Bedfordshire, England. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer £11 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
