Finishing presser — Fairfield County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $17 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
