Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Allegany County, Maryland. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat The role involves grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage.
