Urgent requirement: vertical milling machine operator (Iowa)

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Black Hawk County, Iowa. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Day to day you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
