GMAW welder — Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Washington County, Maine. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Pay around $160 per day, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
