Production welder wanted in Hooker County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production welder in Hooker County, Nebraska. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Rotating shifts.
